Lower Yosemite Falls Project

Yosemite National Park, Completed March 2005

A major redesign and renovation of the Lower Yosemite Falls trail system and visitors' facilities was designed by Lawrence Halprin. Project management, presentation renderings, design, drafting, specifications and site observation were managed by Gary Roth while employed at the Office of Lawrence Halprin. Project elements include new trails, walls, bridges, restroom, shuttle stop and removal of parking lot to create meadow.  Restroom architecture by Ed Burger and Hamilton + Aitken Architects and structural engineering by GFDS Engineers.
